The City of Santa Fe’s Recreation Division has announced new pool hours that will be followed from March 3rd to May 4th, 2025. These updated timings apply to the Genoveva Chavez Community Center (GCCC) and Salvador Perez Recreation Center. The Bicentennial Pool will remain closed for the season.
This new schedule offers a mix of lap swimming, recreational swim times, and therapy pool access, with some new weekend hours added for better community use.

General Hours
Monday to Friday: 6:00 am – 7:30 pm
Saturday & Sunday: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm

50 Meter Pool & Lap Swim
Open: 6:00 am – 7:30 pm
Note: Fewer lanes from 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm due to high demand.
Therapy Pool
Open in three sessions:
6:00 am – 9:00 am
12:30 pm – 2:00 pm
4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Leisure Pool
6:00 am – 10:00 am: Closed
10:00 am – 11:30 am: Tot Time (for children 4 years & under)
12:00 pm – 4:00 pm: Open Recreational Swim
2:00 pm – 3:00 pm: Youth Program (Fridays only, space is limited)
4:30 pm – 7:30 pm: Recreational Swim
